Major Duties and Responsibilities:

 

This position is located in the Research Service at the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN.  You will coordinate, integrate, and execute a national program of health services and implement research related to the Stroke Quality Enhanced Research Initiatives (QUERI).  Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

 

• Performs project needs assessment regarding budgetary and fiscal matters.
• Performs ongoing assessment of current and future human resource needs and personnel management.
• Controls and requisitions supplies and equipment.
• Creates meeting agendas and supporting documentation.
• Manages preparation of the annual program report.
• Develops plans and assists in responses to external advisory committee feedback.
• Facilitates meeting logistical requirements.
• Coordinates the Stroke QUERI Rapid Response Project (RRP) solicitation, review, application, and follow-up process.
• Drafts correspondence and writes/edits reports.
• Performs healthcare management, research investigatory processes, study-related interviewing, compilation and analysis of data, and development and reporting of recommendation and findings.
