In this particular case, the modular
budget is increasing from $100K/yr to $125K/yr (faculty is not requesting the
$275K maximum.)

Yes, you can modify the budget on a
resubmission. All salaries should change every year..(at least we hope
they do!!).
And who would know whether it was modified
or not as R21s use the modular budget format.

Does anyone know……when resubmitting an R21, is
it allowable to modify the budget to cover increased costs of postdoc and
technician, or does the budget have to remain the same amount as it was in the
original submission?
