I was wondering why they were no-shows. Seems irresponsible to me, unless there was a compelling, unavoidable or business-related reason, as Jackie so aptly phrased it.

I would actually go so far as to ask the “no shows” to pay for these expenses personally, unless there is a compelling, unavoidable or business-related reason that they did not show up.

The project did not benefit from the two no-shows. Charge their discretionary accounts  or dept accounts.

Just a quick questions...We have an NIH Grant that we charge travel for
Co-Investigators to the annual meeting. We recently received a charge
from the hotel for two "No-Shows." Is this an allowable expense?
