Washington State University/Spokane is seeking a
Grants and Contract Manager position for the WSU Spokane Office of
Research. This is a full-time Administrative/Professional (exempt)
permanent position, located in Spokane, effective immediately. The Grants and
Contracts Manager will report directly to the Vice Chancellor of Research with
indirect reporting to the Vice Chancellor of Finance/Operations and Director of
the Office of Grant and Research Development/Pullman. The Grants and
Contracts Manager is responsible to oversee all proposal and award processing
including, but not limited to, approving grant and contract proposal budgets,
reviewing the administrative components of proposals, submitting proposals,
preparing sponsored project agreements, negotiating awards and contracts, and
preparing financial and administrative reports. Tasks include pre-award and
post-award responsibilities as it relates to sponsored projects.
