If you do this
survey again, you might want to include a question that will identify where the
person is actually working, pre-proposal, post proposal or at the dept level.
With the advent of the grants.gov mandates, I believe that the most
stressful positions at this time are at pre-proposal level. I work at the
dept level and I am sure that my stress level is considerable lower than those
dealing with proposal submittal deadlines and a system that is less than
perfect.
