At NYU Medical Center, we are moving from a form based process to using InfoEd’s Clinical Trials system to track Clinical Trials billings and receipts. We create a billing matrix in the system that lists all items, services, CPT codes, billable nature, and service providers.  Coordinators then log in and mark subjects visits as completed.  Visit information reports can be run daily and sent to service providers for services conducted in their area.  We also have a complete report of items and services that is sent to the office of clinical trials for all visits, where they can generate invoices and track payments.

Subject: [RESADM-L] billing for industry sponsored CTs

Good Morning All,

I am new to the listserv (and to post-award admin)...glad to be here.

I am wondering if any of you would not mind sharing any forms that your institution may use to help investigators and/or their fiscal managers track clinical trial billings and receipts.  Right now, our office reviewing and updating our very dated research forms so if are able to share or even have suggestions, absolutely great!
