I've sent an email to eRA Commons help desk asking for a clarification on this.  I will send their answer to the list.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Concerned about the ERA advisory
Importance: High

We just received the ERA advisory from NIH this morning.  Among the software changes they will be making tonight is  “Send Email notifications of application errors to Contact PIs only.”  Does this raise the red flag for anyone else?  We’re concerned that we will no longer be notified of error messages on applications.  We consider this a very risky proposition.

I’m hoping that I’m misinterpreting and some of you can have information that can ally our concerns.  Thanks in advance for your feedback.
