Yes. It means that one of the sections (probably supporting docs) had a file that is not supported by Fastlane. We had this problem and the help desk told us to go to the print menu, open each section individually until we hit the one that is causing the problem. We were told to re-upload those documents. If they were letters, we were told to re-scan them. Then you’ll have to resubmit the proposal as a duplicate, so they substitute it. Otherwise, the reviewers are going to have the same problem.

Thanks,

Magui

Subject: [RESADM-L] Fastlane problelm

Submitted one NSF proposal ½ hour ago with no problem.  Now, I can not view the next proposal thru the “print entire proposal” box.  I get an error:  Has anyone experienced this?

It says:  INTERNAL SERVER ERROR  This server has encountered an internal error which prevents it from fulfilling your request.  The most likely cause is a misconfiguration.  Please ask the administrator to look for messages in the server’s error log.

So do they mean, my IT administrator or NSF’s?
