Good morning-
In case some of you have tried to use the Citrix connection
file for Grants.gov and haven't had success, please see the
email below that I received from support this morning. By
the way, the directions are extremely sketchy. I am redoing
them so that our faculty and tech support folks across
campus will have something a little more complete to go by
before we announce that it is available. And oh by the way,
you can't use Safari on the Mac. You have to have IE.

Thank you for contacting Grants.gov Customer Support.

The problem is inside the .ica file. If you open the file inside a text editor, there is an incorrect address. The text of the file is below. It's under the section [IE PureEdge], the line Address=IE PureEdge should be Address=128.231.74.221

Please note the information below (taken directly from the .ica file) for a more detailed example.

Subject:  Problems with Citrix client file

Good Afternoon:
I have tried repeatedly to use the ica connection file from the
Grants.gov website and I keep getting the following error message:
"Sorry the connection to the server "IE PureEdge" was broken. It also
tells me it can't find the IE PureEdge program.

I am running Mac OS 10.4.2, IE 5.2. I made sure that when I was doing
the Citrix client installation that IE was not running.

Please contact me at your earliest convenience so that we can work
through these issues.

Kind regards,
Vonnie Perkins
