DUTIES:
Responsible for ensuring compliance with grant and contract requirements on state, federal and private grants and contracts. Provide technical support for principal investigators, funding sources and University administrative offices in the management of externally funded grants and contracts. Guides the management of project financial activities. Keeps and reconciles financial records. Participates in site visits and audits. Conducts Training for University Staff.
To
provide technical support for principal investigators, funding sources, and
University administrative offices in the management of externally funded grants
and contracts. Interpret financial systems, responsible for
contract and budget analysis, and audit grants to ensure that guidelines are
adhered to. Operate and analyze
programs on a PC and mainframe system.
Required:
·
Knowledge of:
applicable federal regulations (such as OMB A-21, A-110, A-133, and FAR),
applicable state regulations, and various funding source requirements (such as
NIH, NSF, and NEH); accounting and auditing standards (such as GASB and GAAS).
·
Skills in:
contract review; budget review & compliance; oral & written
communications; PC & mainframe computer systems; interpersonal &
problem-solving.

Ability to:
conduct training sessions; develop training
materials;

Bachelor’s degree
·
Ability to work effectively as a team player with
faculty, students, and leaders at

Experience in administration of post-award

Some evening and week-end
hours are necessary, with significant amounts during August through September
for year-end close and beginning of the new fiscal year. This is a security sensitive position and a
