We have based our research incentive plan on the following performance criteria:
1.  Publications
2.  Grants/Contracts submitted
3.  Grants/Contracts funded
4.  Actual grant revenue generated within the year

Additional factors are:
1.  National/International recognitions
2.  Participation in institutional, governmental, and funding agency committees
3.  Presentations

I hope this is helpful.

Dear list members

I am seeking information on the criteria used in US colleges to assess
performance of research faculty (ideally at a departmental level).   Would
anyone be prepared to share their criteria with me ?  I am not seeking your
performance data, only the metrics used.  All areas of research are of
interest.

Your assistance would be appreciated.
