Your
organization will owe ILS their 10-20% locator fee as soon as the clinical
trial agreement is executed. Further, your site assumes the risk of not
covering this cost if the study does not enroll a sufficient number of patients
to cover the expense.

Their
expertise lies in matching a pharmaceutical company with a principal
investigator. Catch comes in when they charge anywhere
from
10-20% of the total project cost (per patient fee x number of patients) for
the service. IlS has approached us on couple deals right now but it
doesn't appear the fees generated from the trial will cover their locator
fees. Haven't seen their agreement yet so I'm not sure how/when they get their
fees in the deal.
