Loyola Marymount University is seeking an assistant to the Director of Foundation Relations and Director of Corporate Relations in raising money from foundations, corporations, and other individual major prospective donors. Duties include researching and generating proposals, promotional materials, and required reports. To qualify for this important role, you must have a BA/BS, preferably in Writing, English, Journalism, or Public Relations. A 2-year professional background in writing proposals or other written presentations is essential. Knowledge of fund raising principles, budget development, and foundations and corporate funding is essential. Proficiency with PCs and MS Office is also required. You must be a deadline-oriented and personable individual with excellent research, organizational, and multitasking skills.
