The call and documents do not seem to make clear if we must have only submitted or if we must have submitted and received award notification for the student aid portion before submitting for the institutional portion of the award. Has anyone received award notification for the student aid portion yet? We have been checking G5 every day but nothing so far.

Best wishes,

Troy.

William,

Do you know if an Institution needs to wait until they receive (award) noticed from the Student CARES ACT (Phase/Term 1) first before they can apply to the Intuitional CARES ACT (Phase/Term 2).

Thanks in advance J

Yes. The student application must be submitted first.

External Sender. Be aware of links, attachments and requests.

Randall,

Thank you for the information. Can you confirm that this is a 2 phase application process? One for the student financial aid, and the second for the discretionary funding for the institution.

Thanks,
Emily

I got in for only the last couple of minutes. Sounds like most of the information is on the OPE website at https://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ope/caresact.html. The g.g/federal opportunity number site is https://www.grants.gov/web/grants/search-grants.html?keywords=ED-grants-042120-004.

[EXTERNAL EMAIL]

I tried to secure a spot on the phone call regarding the CARES Act with the DOE today, but was unsuccessful. Would someone who was able to attend be willing to share relevant information that may have been provided?
