Federal debt David Sengstock 06 Dec 1999 15:00 EST

Hello everyone,

The NIH Grant Policy Statement (II-16) states that "the applicant
organization must certify that neither it nor any person to be paid from
grant funds is delinquent in repaying any federal debt." I would like to
know how other institutions determine if anyone being paid from a grant is
indeed not delinquent. Do you require a form to be filled out by each
employee on a grant? Is this information that might be in the possession
of your HR department?

I appreciate your help and ideas.

Thanks,

David
