Re: when students aren't Deanne L. Hoenscheid 04 Jun 1999 10:34 EST

We have run into this situation several times. The classification that
we use at Lehigh is a "Project Assistant" which is essentially a
continuation of their student status in order to complete a project
which they are working on. They are not registered for any classes. We
use this title for both "undergrad" graduates as well as PhD graduates.
When their payroll is processed, the expense appears under a student
(research assistant) subcode.
