Garrett,

The College of Charleston has established a central campus site for
Year 2000
informatoin on its web site at <http://omt.cofc.edu/y2k/>. We've also
established a campus wide Y2K committee that is overseeing all
compliance issues identified on the campus. A central source for
contact and dissimination of information has proven (seemingly) more
benificial than bombarding our faculty with redundant information from
several helpful sources. Grant-related issues (such as embedded chips
in sensors, PCs, software, and network/Internet compliance) have been
addressed through this committee with solutions being addressed by the
most appropriate departments and their normal work channels. This has
allowed for clear communication about potential Y2K problems and
possible solutions.
