We are in the process of assessing our staffing levels for centralized
pre- and post-award administration of industry-sponsored activities
(research, clinical trials, etc.)  To this end, I would greatly
appreciate it if some of you could take the time to answer any or all of
the following questions as they apply to your institutions.  Feel free

(3) How many staff FTE negotiating Research agreements with private,
for-profit sponsors? 1 (SAME ONE)

(4) How many tenure/tenure-track (or equivalent) faculty in your Medical
School?  206

(5) How many tenure/tenure track (or equivalent) faculty in your
Engineering School?  N/A

BONUS QUESTIONS:

(6)  How many total industry dollars were awarded by private industry
during FY98 (or the last fiscal year for which you have this
information)?  FY98 PRIVATE INDUSTRY FUNDING (DIRECT) $2,731,895
