To add one more voice to the choir- Macs running PC emulator cards, or in
some cases the software doing the emulating may not be stable on all
networks.   Stand alone, they may be fine, but in some cases( like here at
UCHC) they will hang frequently due to pinging network software will do in
checking the connection.
