Federal supplementation on NRSA Mary T. Spina, CRA 09 Sep 1998 17:04 EST

I have an interesting question and wonder if this has come up at any of
your institutions. On an NIH training grant, stipend supplementation from
federal sources is not allowed.

What happens if there is a fellow who is in the reserves, getting paid with
Federal monies? Is this considered federal supplementation? It has
nothing to do with the fellow's research training and she wants to remain
in the air force reserves when she begins her fellowship. Is this a
problem?

Thanks for any and all help.
