Nancy, you asked for input from users of the Oryx Press grants database:

If you like the hard copy of the Oryx Press Directory of Research Grants,
you'll love the cd-rom disc version of it. I have used the OnDisc Grants
Database for two years, and I find it to be very user-friendly and more
up-to-date than the printed version. I use this Grants database in
collaboration with other funding search sources or on its own for a quick
search. The company will send a rep to your office for a demo, and or
perhaps you can request a demo disc. The database is updated every two
months. Now that I subscribe to the OnDisc version, I no longer purchase the
hard-copy manual. Overall, I give the OnDisc Grants Database a "thumbs-up."

I've always liked the Orynx Press Directory of Research Grants and was
wondering if anyone out there has tried their KR Information OnDisc Grants
Data Base. Is it worth the $850? How user freindly is it? Do you have
suggestions for other sources offering similar (Directory of Research
Grants) info?
