GRANT AND CONTRACT SPECIALIST
Yale University seeks a Grant and Contract Specialist to advise faculty on
funding sources and proposal preparation, to review and verify proposals prior
to endorsement, and to assist with post-award administration (non-financial).
Pre-award duties:  with knowledge of current agency guidelines and application
procedures, coordinate with faculty and administrators on proposal preparation;
review proposals for conformity with Yale policies and agency guidelines; act as
contact point for sponsoring agency representatives for proposal-related issues;
and advise faculty and administrators about public and private agencies
supporting research, training and fellowship programs.
Post-award duties:  review award documents; arrange for formal acceptance and
acknowledgement; authorize establishment of grant account; and advise on the
interpretation of sponsor regulations and Yale policies and procedures that
relate to award administration.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or
an Associate's degree and 5 years of experience.
