START Financial Aid Database: Any Informed Opinions? Kenneth D Buelow 05 Jul 1995 13:29 EST

One of my colleagues who deals with graduate students received
promotional literature describing:

 START: Student Aid Research Through Technology
 "private sector financial aid databank"

from Christina M. Hall, Vice President, START & the STAR Foundation
4370 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231 [800/741-3863]

The literature indicates that the databank contains "over 240,000
scholarships, grants and loans, representing over $10 billion in
private sector funding."

Anyone out there have experience with this product, this vendor? It
is presently an "unknown quantity" for me, since I don't normally deal
with supporting >>students'<< pursuit of funding sources.

Thanks, in advance, for any information you might be able to provide.

Ken
