Chronicle article on IDCs David Muhlena 07 Nov 1994 17:30 EST

The discussion of indirect costs must be a timely issue, since there is an
article devoted to it in a recent issue of the Chronicle of Higher Ed.
(November 2, 1994, pages B1-B2). The article deals in part with the
perception of the terms "indirect costs" and "overhead." The author (Gary
Talesnik) was responsible for grants management, indirect cost negotiations,
and cost-reimbursement policy at DHHS for over twenty years. A recommended,
informative read.
