Reminder Liz Mazzella 14 Sep 1994 15:14 EST

I am getting a lot of errors lately (some I believe due to a major
failure at Rutgers --they are bouncing stuff left and right--if anyone
knows subscribers at Rutgers clue them in that they will need to
resubscribe when their problem is resolved--I had to give them the boot.

I am seeing the famous "TO: FROM:" errors. If you reply to a RESADM-L note
using a function of your e-mail that appends the full text of the note
to which you are replying, the LISTSERVER sees 2 TO:'s and 2 FROMs: and
it gets confused and sends me a bothersome error -- your message will
be posted, but I get the bothersome error message anyway. Once you
generate three of these little buggers, you are unceremoniously
bounced from RESADM-L and will have to resubscribe.

Additionally, appending the entire text of a previous note makes for long
postings --just use the same subject line. Unless the message is so
old none of us will remember, in which case you should include
pertinent excerpts.

As always, thanks.

Ciao
