Cutting down on List Traffic Liz Mazzella 30 Jun 1994 13:56 EST

I agree with Jane that when one of us offers up information that the
rest of us might want to use, requests for copies should be sent
directly to the person who offered the info.

In response to this someone else noted that she was unable to determine
individual's e-mail addresses, and she was unsure whether that was
related to the peculiarities of her e-mail or not. It is not. Everyone
should note that unless you have a closing that indicates your
e-mail address somewhere in the body of your posting to RESADM-L
no one will be able to figure out your direct e-mail address from
the posting, because the posting is sent from RESADM-L.
Everyone should include their e-mail address in their closing to resadm-l
postings.

Also, sometime ago we discussed people indicating in their closing
WHERE they are from, and if not obvious, what type of organization
they are in (non-profit, university, etc.) so that comments can be
put in context by readers.

A happy holiday weekend to you all.
