Re: Fed Register Electronic Access Mike McCallister 22 Jun 1994 11:33 EST

Although for a little school like Southeast they are pricey,
I like the Office of Federal Programs, out of AASCU. Good
timely information (they read the Fed Reg and CBD for me)
and a staff that is constantly tracking opportunities for
their clients. Good E-mail service, backed up with print.
I use them as the staff person I can't afford and when
compared to hiring and equipping another RA, they aRE
cheap. I'll pass along telephone numbers, etc. to the
 interested.

This is the first that I have heard about Counterpoint! Thanks for
the info, I have sent a message to the agency for more information.

More and more I am finding that there are a multitude of avenues for
a "fund-seeker" to turn down...

Has anyone had the experience of "signing-on" with the *wrong* information
management agency? It seems that everyone has something good to say about
one or more of these agencies - but has anyone really compared the services
offered / sources tracked / price per year / inpact on faculty funding?

Thanks for the input.
