Why two other Electronic Bulletin Boards? Mike McCallister 20 May 1994 08:46 EST

I don't think you've missed anything. the associations are
late getting into the game and shouldn't try toduplicate
these lists. I do wish, however, that they would do their
organizational business over the wire. Eventually it would
save some trees and it is certainly faster.

Maybe this has been discussed in previous transmissions. But I do not see
the need for two other B-Boards. Maybe the decision is out of our hands,
but I would like to contact the individuals that are looking into duplicating
services that already are in place. I wouldn't think that the sharing of
good information across the associations would be sacrificed for territorial
purposes.

I suppose that each organization would like to use the format to transfer
information about association events, but I can't imagine that they are
confidential in nature.

Am I missing something?
