I know this is a non-issue-- whether institutions would
    mind if we posted job announcements.    but I can see
    the institutional side.  I think what we have to hold
    out to our locals is that we this group is probably more
    active and professional curious, if not downright hip.
    It's a good way to look for a person as well as a job.
    Now, to stir the murk, what about when we are looking
    for specialized research staff?  I am working on a new
    project with a group that is analyzing the mosquito
    population after the Missisippi floods (nasty diseases).
    We have one excellent staff scientist and need some term
    field people in entomology, cartography, etc.
    Do we want to involve ourselves in this type of search.
    Although I need the help, myfirst reaction is probably
    not.  What do ya'll think?
