Question on subawards Christine Fluter-Brown 13 Oct 2020 16:14 EST

Hi,

We have a proposal to NIH that includes 2 co-pis at other universities that have measurable effort (2.4 months) that is identified as cost share on the proposal. No funds are going to them for materials/supplies etc, but if they were getting paid it would be classified as a subaward. Would I identify them as subawards on the proposal even though we are not paying them? If we get awarded, we send the university a subaward form for $0 because it would be considered voluntary committed cost share and auditable correct?

Any insight would be appreciated,

Christine
