Research Data Immutability Taylor Heinecke 04 Jun 2019 15:10 EST

Hello Everyone,

I am a researcher for an NSF SBIR grant looking into academic misconduct in the form of falsification and fabrication. I just got off the phone with a rep from the Society of Research Administrators who said this listserve could be invaluable to our discovery process. I am currently exploring a solution to ensure file immutability, which could prevent data falsification, and to some degree, data fabrication in academic research. I think this tool would be helpful to universities in ensuring the integrity of research data.

If anyone is open to a conversation about how data falsification and fabrication affect your jobs as administrators, I would love to connect! Thank you so much and have a great day!
