12 digit DHHS EIN Ted Russo 11 Sep 2017 12:37 EST

Good afternoon-

We're being asked to provide our 12 digit DHHS/PHS EIN, and the suffix
that we have on record, "A1," is not recognized . Eg. 1-55-5555555-A1

The NIH is telling us it's "A2." I noticed some universities have A1,
some A2 or A7, etc.

Does anyone out there know what the last two digit suffix is used for
and what it means?

Thanks in advance.

Ted Russo
