Arizona State University's School of Life Sciences has an opening for a Research Advancement Administrator.

This position is part of the School of Life Sciences (SOLS) Research Advancement Team. This position is to be primarily dedicated to pre-award management but may include coverage of post-award functions.  Under administrative direction, this position has the responsibility in the development, preparation, and submission of sponsored projects proposals to various funding agencies.  Responsibilities include: identifying prospective funding sources; assisting faculty in proposal preparation; developing complex budgets; resolving issues related to conflict of interest, cost sharing, subcontracting, and intellectual property; reviewing proposals for compliance with sponsor requirements, assists ORSPA with administration/negotiation of unit awards, advises and works with faculty and staff to resolve sponsored projects management issues.  The position advises, instructs, and trains faculty and staff on appropriate guidelines and university policies and fosters a supportive environment to increase the number and frequency of proposal submissions and supports effective management of sponsored projects.
