Proposal Manager, Sponsored Programs Office, Ball State University.

Professional position available immediately.

Responsibilities:  facilitate comprehensive external grant proposal
development and submission for clients in designated campus departments
or units; monitor and update office databases; manage SPO incentive
programs for faculty and professional personnel; oversee office
publications and outreach materials.

Minimum qualifications: bachelor¹s degree by date of
 appointment; at least one year of professional work experience in
research administration; excellent interpersonal, written, and
communication skills; excellent technological skills, including working
knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (including Access), Adobe
Professional suite of products, and an understanding of Grants.gov
submission process; ability to multi-task well under pressure,
simultaneously handling a variety of projects and prioritizing tasks to
meet deadlines.

Preferred qualifications:   Research Administrator¹s
 Certificate (CRA) or master¹s degree; additional years of related
experience; experience using Banner and/or Cayuse; excellent managerial
and organizational skills.

employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
