John,

I don't know the figure off of the top of my head, but I would pull up the Federal Acquisition Regulations website and search for small purchase threshold. Let me know if you get stuck. (There is also a micro purchase threshold of $5K.)

Best,
Sandra

Subject: [RESADM-L] small purchase threshold

Good afternoon all,

We are a non-profit and I am trying to reconcile our internal procurement policy's bid requirement with federal bid requirements. If one were to look at OMB A110 .44 it states the current threshold of small purchases at $25k but references 41 USC 403 (11) which states a threshold of $100k as of '94(?). Am I reading this correctly? I have searched archives of RESADM but haven't yet seen or understood the resolution.

As an aside and as a frequent xcell user, I've just now recognized the unfortunate naming of federal guidelines as 'circular's.

Regards,
John
