Institutional supports for NIH Post-Baccalaureate researchers Linda Marston 14 Sep 2010 09:59 EST

Greetings:
Do folks have institutional policies or practices to support graduates who
continue on at their colleges supported by NIH Post-Baccalaureate Research
Supplements (PBS)? He may, or may not, take a graduate course at the same
time.

I want to ask my college to provide inkind institutional support to the
former-student by letting him reside in on-campus (or grad student) housing
while he works full-time on an NIH AREA grant. The alum-researcher would
then pay the student housing rate. He is currently on an Undergraduate
Research Supplement, and the PBS would continue his career development
under his faculty advisor.

Thanks for your help, Linda
