New York University's Faculty of Arts and Science is seeking a talented
Grants Administrator/Assistant to the Dean in the discipline of Science.
The incumbent will manage sponsored research grants and contracts; write
and edit institutional grant proposals for submission to Federal
agencies, private foundations, and corporations; conduct a comprehensive
review of grant proposals; provide administrative oversight for internal
grant competitions. Facilitate financial transactions and develop
various financial reports to track expenses on multimillion dollar
restricted accounts, endowment accounts, and sponsored research
projects. Assist with special projects. Provide support to the Dean and
Associate Dean for Science.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills. Proficiency
with spreadsheet and database software. Detail oriented. Ability to
multi-talk and work under multiple deadlines.

Bachelor's degree required.  Master's degree in a science discipline
preferred.  3 years of relevant experience in academic administration
with experience in pre- and post-award grants management required.
