limit of 15 publications on NIH biosketch Zoya Hamilton 02 Feb 2010 11:25 EST

What do you think the implications are for not limiting the number of
publications on biosketches to 15? NIH seems somewhat vague on whether
or not this is a requirement or just merely "encouraged".

In the NOT-OD-09-149
(http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-09-149.html) it
seems more definitive, but in the sample biosketch
(http://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/phs398/biosketchsample.pdf) it
says "NIH encourages applicants to limit the list of selected
peer-reviewed publications or manuscripts in press to no more than 15".
