Re: HRSA AENT Brown, Leesa 12 Nov 2009 17:40 EST

I saw two when I first downloaded the application from grants.gov. They
were all in the first day the announcement was made. I think HRSA was
so desperate to get the announcement out so that the deadline would be
before Christmas that they sent out the announcement without revised the
g.g application packet from the standard to the modified package with
only two forms to fill out for Phase I.

I am planning on waiting until after the conference call next week to
download the application packet. That way I don't have to worry about
any changes - I hope.

There are two phases to this proposal. Phase I due on December 7th is
just the two documents in grants.gov then you will receive the forms for
Phase II from HRSA that need to be loaded into the EHB along with the
narrative and abstract.

HRSA is having two conference calls next week about the AENT but you
need to pre register. The information about the conference calls are in
the AENT instructions.

HRSA is extremely late this year so don't be surprised if there are more
modifications. There have been 4 since the announcement on Tuesday.

Subject: [RESADM-L] HRSA AENT

Colleagues,

I'm struggling to remember, from a year ago...where does one upload the
required Abstract in the HRSA AENT and NAT applications?

The guidelines state to upload to the Grants.gov package but the package

only contains the SF424 and PHS-5161 Checklist, neither of which has a
field for an Abstract.

I remember encountering this last year but for the life of me, I can't
remember. I believe that the abstract gets uploaded to eHandbooks...I'm
thinking this is correct but memory fails me.

Anyone???
