FedConnect - Who can register? Ruth Tallman 26 Jun 2009 05:33 EST
Hi Folks,

How are you handling registrations in FedConnect? If more than one PI
or group is submitting a proposal in response to a single solicitation,
while the proposals are being finalized and they are residing in the
solicitation's "create" box in FedConnect, anyone who has registered
with FedConnect could go into that solicitation and browse the draft
submissions. However, only those registered in FedConnect are able to
view the FAQ's associated with a solicitation, something the researchers
should be able to keep up with as they prepare their submission. We are
having a debate: should we restrict registrations in FedConnect to those
with the authority to submit on behalf of the institution or should we
allow the researchers to register?

I would appreciate hearing how you are handling/monitoring registrations
in FedConnect at your institution.

Happy Friday!

Ruth
