FW: Deadline extension for FY2009 DOD PRMRP Investigator Initiated Research Award Dimmitt, Robert 15 Apr 2009 18:47 EST

Good evening!!

For those submitting to the DOD PRMRP awards, what is your take on this? We had applications that we submitted successfully and now we get this message. Are you rebuilding the forms even if you have already submitted and your submission went through?

Thanks!

Subject: Deadline extension for FY2009 DOD PRMRP Investigator Initiated Research Award

The Grants.gov deadline for the DOD Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program Investigator Initiated Research Award Funding Opportunity Number, W81XWH-09-PRMRP-IIRA has been extended to April 23, 2009 due to a Grants.gov alteration in the submission package.

Grants.gov has altered the package for submission to the FY09 IIRA making all forms mandatory. These include the SF424 (R&R), Attachments, Research & Related Project/Performance Site Location(s), and Research & Related Senior/Key Person Profile (Expanded) forms.

Instructions for an optional Partnering PI application found in the "Application Instructions" indicate that the "Research & Related Senior/Key Person Profile (Expanded) form" is not required. However, due to the restructuring of the grants.gov package, the "Research & Related Senior/Key Person Profile (Expanded) form must be included in the Partnering PI application. The Partnering PI application will be rejected by grants.gov unless this and all mandatory forms are included in the application package submitted to grants.gov.

Please make sure that you are submitting the correct grants.gov package that is posted in grants.gov.
