Re: g.g error du jour Bob Beattie 05 Mar 2009 11:42 EST

This is the ERROR DU JOUR.
I had two of these already. Checked with the S2S group as it came
with both forms and s2s.

Here is what I learned from Jeff Miller at Washington
--------------------------
This is one we had quite a bit of in the past.

Fortunately, grants.gov actually has clarified this one, in the
recent revision of their error message document:
http://www.grants.gov/assets/AdobeReaderErrorMessages.pdf

" 10. Failed to Update GrantApplication XML's LOB::Failed to Update
GrantApplication
XML's LOB
Grants.gov automatically reprocesses these applications..."

-------------------

Everything else seems going well, so we needed something to worry
about :)

Dear Colleagues,

I just received a g.g rejection message for the application I
submitted yesterday at 2 pm:

Error:Failed to Update GrantApplication XML's LOB::Failed to Update
GrantApplication XML's LOB
I am on hold with g.g help desk for close to an hour now and it is
telling me that "the estimated waiting time is as least 10 minutes".

Two questions: does anyone know what this error means?

Do you know if the g.g help desk has problems today?

Thanks very much,
