Thank you but that is not the issue. I have only ADOBE Pro 9.

The issue is that something we uploaded from a collaborating institution
must have corrupted our files.

What I'm trying to figure out is if there is some way I can test a document
before opening it to see if it is the correct version of ADOBE.
