Any equipment purchased from the grant is for the program use.  Once the program is completed/ended the equipment stays with the university.

Does the title of equipment bought vests with the University? If so, then it is
their property. Their insurance should cover it. If it belongs to the grantor,
then it depends upon their policy.

If a break-in occurs and computers are stolen that are for an Upward Bound
program, is the grant responsible for replacing them?  I thought the university
should insure or at least be responsible for equipment on its property
regardless of the original funding source.  Any input?
