SRA GA/SC Chapter Meeting Announcement Sarah Gause 13 Feb 2008 14:39 EST

Dear Fellow Research Administrators,

I am pleased to announce that the Georgia / South Carolina Chapter of
the Society of Research Administrators will hold its annual conference
Friday, March 14th, in Columbia, South Carolina at the University of
South Carolina.

This year we will continue to offer additional sessions as part of
SRA's "Introduction to Research Administration and Management"
certificate program. This series is the first of its kind being offered
on the chapter level. This an excellent opportunity for your staff or
yourself to receive some comprehensive training previously offered only
at SRA Section and International meetings.

This year's concurrent sessions in the certificate track are:
- Research Law,
- Corporate Sponsored Clinical Trials,
- Post Financial Awards, and
- The Research Administrator as a Change Agent at PUIs (Predominantly
Undergraduate Institutions).

Other concurrent sessions in addition to the "Basic Training" offered
are:
- Basic Budgets,
- Front End Research Infrastructure, and
- MUSC Master's in Research Administration Informational Session.

So, mark your calendars to attend the conference on Friday, March 14th
in Columbia, South Carolina and forward this message to any other
colleagues who may be interested. Agenda, registration and
accommodations information are available on the SRA website at
www.srainternational.org under Georgia/South Carolina Chapter.

Your Georgia/South Carolina Officers and Meeting Committee Members,

Sarah Gause Epting - Chapter President
