Re: Human Subjects - Class projects Kristy Ford 12 Nov 2007 18:33 EST

I am not at Georgia Southern anymore, but they have a pretty straight forward IRB policy on class projects. Go to georgiasouthern.edu and click on "research." Then, go to ORSSP and find the IRB link. The IRB Policies and Procedures Manual, which includes this policy, is there.

If you have any more questions about it, feel free to ask me.

Good Afternoon,

I'm looking for the policies on classroom projects that include human
subjects. Specifically, policies that do or don't require IRB review
for studies conducted by teams or individuals as a class project but
involve participants from around campus or in community settings.

Links to your policy or comments on this issue will be appreciated!
