"Key" is defined by the PI. In some labs and on some projects, postdocs,
even technicians, are VERY key...in others they are, well, useful.

Ours is an age where many CEOs make 500 times the salaries of those on the
assembly line and aging untested men send 20 year olds to slaughter. Naive
moi but can't science refuse these conventions of rank and prestige?  Why
should postdocs be excluded on principle?

the same concern as you, but I honestly can't remember ever having any
difficulty with an investigator trying to attach bios for non-Key
Personnel. On the other hand, I have more problems with PIs identifying
some personnel as Key -- such as post-docs! -- that I'm not sure I really
agree with that designation. However, that is
