Beth,

I think you may be asking two questions. The NSF web-site must meet the
requirements of 508 and that would include any reports or findings
available on that web-site. The individual grantee would be guided by the
type of institution. State insitiutions would be responsible to meet 508
as a part of Title II of the ADA and private universities and colleges
would meet a standard as provided by Title III. In any case, Title II or
Title III because the grantee is a recipient of federal funds they would be
required to meet the standards of 508. You may wish to check with NSF
about insuring that this requirement is included in the Assurances sign off
that all recipients sign relating to compliance with applicable federal
laws, i.e. non-discrimination. Good luck.

Good Morning. I am looking for information regarding web accessibility
guidelines for National Science Foundation grant awards. I have found
required practices for web accessibility that are to be used by those
creating NSF web sites to conform to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act,
yet there was no information regarding grantee dissemination standards.
Are there specific regulations, such as those mentioned above, that must be
followed to claim that findings are “web accessible” or is the creation of
a web site sufficient evidence?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Beth
