Re: Grants.gov for Macs Robert Beattie 28 Feb 2006 14:22 EST

I have tried that Badger site and it did work to allow me to use my
Mac to download the PureEdge viewer program and fill out a PureEdge
grant application. I did not try a submission with the program,
however.

We have been checking the Citrix version listed on the Grants.gov
server and that now seems to work. The problems well documented by
Vonnie Perkins seem to be fixed. Moreover, the system did not time-
out within an hour of non use (compared to 10 minutes with the
earlier verson).

Perhaps some other folks can give this a try so we can have
verification that the Grants.gov Citrix solution is now viable. Is
the documentation now more user friendly to those who are not already
knowledgeable about what to do. Thanks.

The description is as follows: Grants.gov for Mac OS X is a single
package containing all the necessary items to use the Grants.gov
Citrix server solution from Mac OS X. This package is provided to the
community as a service by the University ofWisconsin, and is not an
official product of Grants.gov.

Has anyone used this yet?
