Barbara;

PO are in most cases a form of fixed price contract. If you go to the
following link you will see our policy.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Small POs - Federal Funds

Has anyone developed an alternate method (that passes audit) to the
establishment of a standard grant/contract account when receiving very
small (<$1,500) P.O.s for analytical testing/monitoring services that
will be paid with Federal flow-thru funds? I have always been under the

impression that the OMB Circulars require separate accounting for each
of these requests, but because of the administrative burden, we're
wondering if there is an easier allowable way to account for such small
projects.  Note we're a public non-profit.
Thanks.
Barbara
